Finally got the will to bike (and blog) again. I know the year just got started but I already have a lot of catching up to do. Studying, getting my certifications, improving my writing, getting rich, and a lot more. I just needed to start something to get me going. And the best way to get going is to be physically active. A healthy mind and body can get you further in life, right?
So yesterday I got my first “legitimate” physical (and visual) exercise. I was pretty consistent biking before the pandemic hits. In fact, I was able to do a vlog about it, watch it HERE. And then all hell breaks loose. Admit it, most of us felt inconsistent, discouraged, and even depressed during the pandemic. But better days are coming.

For my first ride of the year, I went to my go-to warm-up route – C6. A lot has changed since I last biked here, but definitely still a good route because of the lake view. Also, I don’t want to overdo it by going uphill and ending up with a sore knee. But who Am I kidding – I woke up late that’s why I ended up here. For those of you who know me, I wouldn’t go on a trip without a camera, so for this trip, I decided to take my Fujifilm XE3 and a manual Meiki 35mm f1.7 lens. A combo which I’m bound to do a review in the future. Aside from being rusty physically, my photography has been rusting as well.
And oh, on a very weird segue, someone gifted me a new bag that will help me carry my gear when biking. #ShareKoLang

The photos I took on this trip are nothing special. I mostly shot while still on my bike (no I wasn’t riding and shooting). But I’m just happy to be out again and shooting with intention. The only thing I regreted is not waking up early so I can take advatage of the beautiful morning light.

Overall it was a good start and I am excited to be on the move again. I also just renewed my website hosting so I need to be active here more. Anyway, I need to get back to reading my new book in my collection so I’ll just leave you here with more photos. See yah soon!
